Blue Arrow Defense Secures Pre-Seed Funding to Advance Autonomous Navigation and Fleet Systems

KYIV, Ukraine and PITTSBURGH, US – Blue Arrow Defense, Inc., a defense technology company focused on contested-environment autonomy, is thrilled to share that it has successfully closed its pre-seed funding round. The company, which officially launched in January, secured investment from both U.S. and EU-based investors. Leading the round was Big Defence, a Finland-based early-stage investment firm known for backing transformative defense-tech ventures.

With this funding, Blue Arrow will expand hiring efforts and accelerate development across its autonomy product lines. These include low-cost visual navigation in partnership with KEF Robotics, target tracking and terminal guidance, a ballistic calculator, and a multi-UAV fleet management system designed to deliver resilient, mission-critical autonomy for defense operations.

“This funding is a major milestone for Blue Arrow and a strong validation of our vision,” said Sergii Tereshchenko, CEO of Blue Arrow Defense. “Our mission is to make autonomy affordable, scalable, and reliable for Ukrainian front-line operators. By combining proven navigation technology with cutting-edge fleet management and targeting systems, we are building the tools needed to redefine how drones operate in GPS-denied and contested environments.”

Blue Arrow’s pre-seed raise highlights the growing importance of collaboration in defense innovation, particularly in addressing the challenges of modern battlefields. The company will use this momentum to strengthen its engineering teams in Ukraine and the United States, while continuing to deliver technology that directly supports operators in active conflict zones.
